Item Delo Hall, Dormitory at the University of Tampa(1979)This 11-story building was located on Crescent Place at North B Street, now called Frederic H. Spaulding Drive. This image is of the eastern façade, the camera is aimed southwest. It was originally know as the Myelvaron. It served as a hotel and apartment building before being purchased by The University of Tampa in 1966. It was converted into a dormitory and named after The University of Tampa's fifth president, David M. Delo, and his wife, Elsie "Sunny" Delo. The structure was razed in 2000 to make way for the Vaughn Center.Item Rivershore Tower, Dormitory at The University of Tampa(1977-08-10) Edelson, IrvLooking south across Kennedy Boulevard, a Denny's Restaurant, parking lot and seven-story building are visible. This property was purchased by The University of Tampa in August of 1977. The former hotel was converted into a 192 room dormitory. It was sold in September of 1986 and was razed in January of 1987.
