Abstract
Wedding Rings and Pawnshops is a collection of short stories that
explores the intimacy of human interactions with a tinge of the magical found
within them. The characters are typical people facing atypical complications.
Building babies, collecting wedding bands, extracting tongues. This collection
follows different characters as they navigate familiar, platonic and romantic
relationships. It’s about the primal truth that humans are pack animals that need
one another to survive.
